1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 t. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 t. salt
1 t. baking soda
3 c. quick oatmeal
3/4 c. chopped walnuts
2 t. cinnamon
1 t. nutmeg
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped dates

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter & sugars, add eggs and vanilla, beat well. Add sifted dry ingredients, oatmeal, raisins, dates & nuts, mix well.

Shape into a log roll, wrap in foil and chill overnight.

Slice 1/2" thick, flatten to 1/4" thick.

Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes.
