Personal Notes:
Years ago my Patrick basically did all he could to be one of the Fox brothers, spending as much time as he could over at their house. He would always come home and tell me what a good cook Meg was and how much he ate at their house!! I would be mortified when he told me how many cookies or ham sandwiches he ate. I remember him telling me that she makes the BEST ham sandwiches he ever tasted. I called her to ask how she made them because, obviously I was making them wrong and she just laughed and said that it was just ham and rolls from Grasch's, nothing more. Then it was the cookies! He would come home and tell me that she made the best cookies and he ate 12 of them! I called her to get the recipe and once again she laughed and said, "Lisa, I just use the Nestle Toll House recipe on the back of the bag." Same recipe I used but mine didn't match hers...then it was the Lasagna...she made the BEST lasagna ever...that too was a recipe on the box but she had two additions to the recipe so I started making it the same way she did but I don't think I ever mastered it. Meg was the epitome of a gracious hostess, she did all things with LOVE for her family and friends which is why we all loved being with her!
