3/4 cup butter or oleo
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
2 cups flour
1/2 cup finely chopped nuts
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add egg. Sift flour, soda and baking powder three times. Add to butter, sugar and eggs. Add vanilla and nuts. Roll in wax paper. Put in refrigerator to get real hard. Slice real thin and bake in 375-degree oven.
