2 lb. ground meat
1 yellow onion, chopped
1 T. olive oil
1 small head of cabbage, chopped
2 (14.5 oz.) cans diced fire roasted tomatoes, or for spice, Rotel tomatoes
6 oz. tomato paste
6 oz. water
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground black pepper
Options for extra spice:
1 tsp. crushed red peppers
1 tsp. cummin
few leaves of chopped basil

Directions:
Directions:
Cook onion in olive oil. Brown ground beef in cooked onions. Drain off grease. Add chopped cabbage now or cook in chicken base and then add last. Add tomatoes, paste, water, garlic, etc. Bring to a boil. Cover and heat for 30 minutes. *Can add zucchini, V-8 juice, or use ham hocks.
