Grammy's Stromboli Recipe

DOUGH:
1 pkg dry yeast
1 C warm water (105 - 115 degrees)
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
2 Tbsp oil
2 1/2 C flour

SAUCE:
2 egg whites, beaten
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder or garlic salt
1/8 C oil

Preheat oven to 350º

FOR THE DOUGH: Dissolve yeast in water. Stir in sugar, salt, oil and flour. Beat vigorously 20 strokes. Let rest about 10 minutes. Roll dough into 12 x 10 rectangle and cover with sauce:

FOR THE SAUCE: Mix all ingredients and spread on dough.

FOR THE FILLING: Layer the following: 1/4 lb sliced pepperoni; 1/4 lb brown and crumbled sausage or ground beef; 1/4 lb mozzarella cheese; 1/4 lb chopped ham.

Roll the dough closed and pinch the ends. Place on a greased cookie sheet and bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool before slicing.
