2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
3 eggs
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp veg oil
1 tsp almond extract
vegetable oil for frying
powdered sugar for sprinkling

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, salt and baking powder in a bowl. In a separate bowl beat eggs, sugar, oil and almond extract until thick. Blend in flour mixture. Turn out onto a floured board and knead until smooth. Cover with the bowl and let set for 1 hour. Roll & cut into 3/4 inch wide strips and long enough to make a circle to loop into a knot. Heat oil in a heavy fry pan to 370 º ( oil can't be too hot or it will brown them to fast). Oil should be deep enough so that Crusp will float and so you can turn them (about 3/4 inches deep). Fry turning until golden brown.

You may get more or less than 2 dozen depending on how thick and wide you make your strips. Dough should be rolled out to the thickness of a pie crust.
