2 cups Flour
1 cup Brown Sugar
1/2 cup Butter
4 cup Chopped apple or rhubarb

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour and sugar together. Cut in butter with a pastry blender or 2 knives until a coarse crumb is formed.
Mix about 1/4 of the crumbs with chopped fruit and spread in well greased deep baking dish.
Cover with the remaining crumbs and spread evenly.
Bake in a moderate oven (350º) for 30-40 minutes or until the surface is a golden brown.
Serve hot or cold with cream
