1/3 cup Butter
1 cup Sifted brown sugar
2 tbsp Milk or cream
1/2 cup Currants
1 Egg beaten
1 tsp Vanilla
Pastry

Directions:
Directions:
Mix ingredients together and place spoonful of the mixture in muffin tins which have been lined with pastry.
Bake in hot oven - 450º - for 8 minutes
Reduce temp to 350º and bake until pastry is delicately browned.

Taffy Tarts
Use the same mixture with currants omitted
