First Ingredients
4 cups Beets , cut into strips
1 Carrot, cut into small chunks
1 Medium Potato
1 Celery stalk
1 Large onion, diced
1/2 cup Navy beans (soak overnight and cook first)
1 cup Tomato juice (optional)
1 tbsp Lemon juice or vinegar
2 tbsp Oil
1/2 Clove garlic, crushed

Second Ingredients
2 cups Shredded cabbage
1 tsp Dill Weed
1 tbsp Parsley
Beet tops - chopped

Cream

Directions:
Directions:
Cook all first ingredients together for 1/2 hour then add second ingredients and cook for 1 1/2 hours.
Put cream or sour cream in bowls or transfer some of the soup to another pot and add cream and reheat
