1 C sugar
1/2 C Olive Oil
3/4 C Red Wine Vinegar
1/2 tsp white pepper
1 tsp seasoned salt
1 can tiny peas - drained - 11 to 14 oz.
1 can white shoe peg corn - drained - 11 to 14 oz.
1 can french style green beans - drained - 14 oz.
1 small jar of pimento - drained and finely chopped
1 C celery - finely chopped
1/2 C green onions - finely chopped
1 green pepper - finely chopped

Directions:

1) Bring first five ingredients to a boil so all is mixed and dissolved
2) Cool first five ingredients
3) Pour cooled liquid over the remaining ingredients
4) Refrigerate over night so the "sauce" can marinate into the other ingredients

Ann-Patrice ~ This was another family recipe, on my Mom's side, that was a staple for picnics. There was not a family gathering, that someone did not bring this recipe. To this day, Shirley and other cousins take it church functions and family gatherings. It was probably a "Depression era" dish to begin with.
