Ingredients:  
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder (heaping)
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 egg
1/2 cup of your favourite BEER
Pinch of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together all ingredients until smooth
Cover fish in batter and fry in hot vegetable oil ( enough to cover fish)
Test oil for temperature with a crust of bread, it floats up quickly it is ready
You will need to turn fish once cook until golden brown
