3 lb. rump roast
Flour
Salt and pepper to taste (Lowrey's Salt is good, too)
2 T. canola oil
1pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
1 lb. baby carrots
2 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Flour and season the roast with salt and pepper. In a large skillet with oil, brown all sides of the roast. Remove and place in a roasting pan; add carrots, soup mix and water. Cover and roast at 325 F. for 3 hours.
