1 c white sugar
1 c brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs, beaten

1 1/2 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3 c oatmeal

Directions:

Cream shortening and sugars until fluffy. Add vanilla and eggs. Mix well with a spoon.
Add #2 group blending well.
Roll into small balls, press flat with wet fork.

Bake at 350º, about 12 mins, until brown enough.
