2 lbs ground beef (turkey meat for the health conscious)
1 package of Hot Italian Sausage (turkey sausage for health conscious)
3 cans red kidney beans
2 large onions
1 green pepper
1 (red or yellow) pepper
1 beer (NO CHEAP BEERS)
3 bottles of Heinz Chili Sauce (small/skinny - only one size)
1 packet of McCormick's Chili powder mix
2 cans whole tomatoes 14oz
1 can tomato paste 6oz
Black pepper
Garlic powder
Onion salt
Hot sauce
Worcester Sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat and drain. Cook/brown Hot Italian Sausage. Cut/dice up all sausage.

Pour sausage grease into chili pot. dice onions and peppers. Add all other ingredients. Give a good "dusting" of black pepper, garlic powder, and onion salt. Add several (hearty) dashes of hot sauce and Worcester sauce.

Heat and simmer for 2 hours on low to medium (stirring periodically).

*** for best serving results: cool in fridge over night, heat up and serve the following day ***

Fun mixers: BBQ sauce, Sweet and Sour sauce, Jalapeņo peppers, and Cajun Spices. (you can add any of these to adjust the mild or hot flavor of the pot.)

These are done randomly upon the urge and availability in the kitchen and as needed.
