2 lbs ground beef
1 lg onion
2 cans whole tomatoes 14 oz
2 cans tomato sauce 14 oz
1 can tomato paste/1 can water 6 oz
2 cans light red kidney beans 14 oz
1-3 tsps cumin
1-3 tsps chili powder
Hot sauce to taste
Salt and pepper to taste
1 fresh jalapeņo pepper (optional)

Brown meat and onion. Drain grease. Add all ingredients to large pot and simmer for at least 1 hour.
