Topping:
½ c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1 c. chopped nuts
2 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine

Mix the above ingredients together with a fork.

Cake:
½ c. margarine
¾ c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
½ pt. sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven at 350ºF.

Cream margarine, sugar and vanilla thoroughly. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift flour, baking powder, and baking soda together. Add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream. Spread half of the mixture in greased tube pan and sprinkle on ½ of topping. Cover with rest of butter and sprinkle on rest of topping.

Bake in oven for 45 minutes.

Brown sugar will stay soft if you take it out of the box, place it in a tin box and add a slice of fresh bread on top and cover.
