1 lb brown sugar (2 1/4 - 2 1/2 cups)
1/2 c granulated sugar
3 c. flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 lb of ground almonds
3 eggs
1/2 lb melted butter
 

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and nuts.  Add well-beaten eggs and butter.  Form into a roll and refrigerate (I usually let it sit overnight.)  Slice thin and dip in granulated sugar.  Bake 10-12 min in a moderate oven
