"A man who was fond of wine was offered some grapes at dessert after dinner. "Much obliged," said he, pushing the plate aside; "I am not accustomed to take my wine in pills."--Jean Antheleme Brillat-Savarin, The Physiology of Taste

Personal Notes:
• Don’t try to make this without peeling the apples. (trust me on this)
• You can use any kind of apple you like, but the tart apples are really good in it.
• You can use 7-up or sprite if you don’t have mountain dew on hand. If you’re using it from a bottle use 1.5 cups of soda for this recipe.
• It will seem like a lot of fluid, but once it bakes you’ll see it’s just the right amount! 
• If you’re an ice cream fan, these are great served warm with vanilla ice cream.
