2 cups all purpose flour
3 tsp double acting baking powder
1 t salt
3 T sugar
4 eggs separated
1 3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup melted fat or cooking oil

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients together and set aside. Combine egg yolks, milk, and fat. Pour into flour and stir until flour is just moistened. Beat egg whites until stiff peak is formed. Egg whites should be moist and glossy. Stir into flour and milk mixture. Bake 4 to 5 minutes in hot waffle iron.
