1 can artichoke hearts, drain and chop
1 oz. capers
¾ cup mayonnaise
½ cup Parmesan cheese, divided

Directions:
Mix artichokes, capers, mayonnaise and half of the cheese. Place in small baking dish and top with remaining cheese. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve with pita chips or favorite crackers.

My friend, Heather and I were on a business trip in Barcelona. We were the Meeting Planners for an incentive group where we were the only two Americans. There were two last minute openings for a tour of the Basilica de la Sagrada Familia that we attended with the group. At the end of the tour, there was an optional opportunity to climb the stairs in the tower to walk across the structure (shown below). After climbing the spiral staircase we approached a “traffic jam” and watched our tour bus leave with our group from one of the windows. Finally making it to the top we had made new friends and had a new recipe.
