FOR CRUST:
1/2 cup quick oats
1 cup flour
1/2 cup chopped nuts
2 Tbsp sugar
1/2 cup margarine
dash of cinnamon
FOR LAYERS 2-4:
8 oz cream cheese
8 oz cool whip
2 1/2 cup milk
2 small pkgs chocolate instant pudding mix
nuts and coconut (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º
Grease 9" x 13" pan
First Layer:
Mix quick oats, flour, chopped nuts, sugar, and dash of cinnamon.
Melt butter, add dry ingredients, and mix well.
Press into greased pan. Bake 12 to 15 minutes until browned. Cool.
Second Layer:
mix softened cream cheese and 8 oz cool whip in mixer until well blended. Spread on cooled crust
Third Layer:
Mix milk and pudding mix and spread on second layer.
Fourth Layer:
Spread 8 oz cool whip on top.
Chill thoroughly and sprinkle with chopped nuts and coconut if desired.

From Grandma Rose Ball, this is a much loved recipe. It brings back fond memories for Jenn, Amy,Matthew, and Nathan. I have the original recipe in Rose's handwriting complete with her signature!
