1 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 cup brown sugar
2 cups oatmeal
1 cup margarine

FILLING
1/2 - 1 lb dates
1 cup water
2-3 tbsp. brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the top ingredients together & pat half of crumbs in 9x 9 pan.
Cook filling for 20 minutes, spread over the base & top with remaining crumbs. Bake at 375º for 25 minutes.
