Ingredients: 1/2 cup white sugar 1 stick butter (8 oz.) 1 stick margarine (8 oz.) - (I use butter) 2 tbsp. (heaping) brown sugar box of honey graham crackers (can use low fat!)

Directions:Heat oven to 375º F.
Line large jelly roll pan with aluminum foil and spray with non-stick oil. Break grahams into individual cookies and spread over pan, packing tightly. Put all ingredients (except cookies) into heavy bottomed saucepan and heat to boiling - stirring often. Boil for at least 2 minutes. Pour syrup over cookies and spread evenly over all with spatula. Bake for 10 minutes (until brown and bubbly) Remove from oven and cool on cook top. In about 5 - 10 minutes take a knife and go around each cookie. Let cool until hard. (you can even put whole pan in fridge if in hurry). Break apart and store in air-tight container. Put wax paper between layers.
Additional ways to prepare: Sprinkle 1 cup of chocolate chips over cooked cookies, wait for a minute until they start melting and spread over all with spatula. Cool.
Sprinkle chopped nuts over cookies as soon as they are removed from oven.
