1 lb dark brown sugar
3/4 lb butter & lard
2 tbsp. soda (level)
2 1/2 tbsp. cinnamon (heaping)
2 1/2 tbsp. cloves (heaping)
2 tbsp. ginger (level)
flour (enough so can roll dough)
