1 fifth Vodka
1 1/2 cups wild huckleberries
1 lemon
1 1/2 c sugar
1 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Divide washed huckleberries btwn 2 quart glass jars
and add equal amounts of vodka in jars. Divide the zest of the lemon btwn the 2 jars. Cap and shake well, store at room temp shaking occasionaly for two weeks.
Using a fine mesh strainer, strain the vodka into a bowl. ( i would even use a cheesecloth to strain out.)
In a sauce pan, dissolve the sugar and water, heat to slow boil, and let boil 2 minutes, stirring . Let cool and add to vodka mixture, Pour into bottles cork and store up to one year!
