2 cups self-rising flour
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 Tablespoons cream or milk

Directions:
Directions:
Set oven to 375º
When adding sugar to flour, make a hole in the mixture for the egg.
Stir egg into flour and sugar.
Stir until forms a soft ball.
If dry, add another tablespoon of milk. May refrigerate dough for easier rolling.
Roll out dough, cut cookies and place on a cookie sheet. sprinkle with sugar.
Bake for about 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and soft.
