3/4 C shortening
1/2 C sugar
1 1/2 t salt
1 1/2 C buttermilk
2 C white flour
1 C whole wheat flour
2 C quick cooking oatmeal
1 t baking soda
1 t baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º F.

Sift dry ingredients and mix thoroughly. Cream shortening and sugar. Add buttermilk and dry ingredients Roll very thin. Prick with fork. Bake 20 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet.
