1 cup plus 2 tbs sifted flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup softened butter or shortening
6 tbsp. sugar
6 tbsp. brown sugar, packed
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp water
1 egg
1 6oz package, semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1/2 cu coarsely chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together the flour, baking soda and sale and set aside. Combine the softened butter or shortening, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla and 1/4 tsp water and beat until creamy. Beat in the egg. Add the flour mixture and mix well. Stir in the morsels and nuts. Drop by well rounded 1/2 tsp on to greased cookie sheets. Bake in a preheated 375º oven for 10-12 minutes.
