Homemade Cinnamon Rolls Recipe

1/2 cup very warm water (microwave 30 seconds)
1 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp yeast
1/2 cup melted butter
2 eggs
2 tsp salt
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 cup warm milk (microwave less than 1 min)
5 cup flour

Filling:
6 Tbsp butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1-2 tbsp cinnamon

Icing:
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla
2 tbsp milk
Powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
1. Combine water, 1 tbsp sugar and yeast in a small bowl. Set aside 5 minutes to activate.
2. Mix together 1/2 cup sugar, melted butter, eggs and salt. Add activated yeast mixture.
3. Stir in warm milk
4. Add 5 cup flour, 1-2 cup at a time.
5 Knead dough on well floured surface. Add flour as needed to get to non-sticky point.
6. Place dough in a large, greased bowl and let rise. This will take 90 mins to 2 hours, the dough should be nearly doubled in size.
7. Punch down dough. Separate into 2 pieces.
8. Roll out one piece of dough in large rectangle, roughly 9x13 about 1"thick.
9. Spread softened butter all over dough, about 3 tbsp.
10. Mix together 3/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup sugar and 1-2 tbsp cinnamon. Sprinkle half over first rectangle.
11. Roll dough as tightly as possible and seal the seams.
12. Floss or slice dough into 12 (1-inch) rolls.
13. Place rolls in -greased 9x13 pan, let rise until doubled. About 1 hour.
14. Repeat steps 8-13 with second piece of dough.
15. Bake @ 350º for 20-22 minutes
16. While rolls are baking, mix together icing ingredients
17. Spread icing while rolls are hot.
18. Cool and enjoy
