1 onion, diced
1 lb ground beef
1 lb ground pork
1/2 C bread crumb
2 large egg yolks
1/4 tsp ground allspice
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
Salt and pepper

For the gravy
1/4 C butter
1/3 C flour
4 C beef broth
3/4 C sour cream
Salt and pepper
2 T chopped parsley

Directions:
Directions:
Heat 1 T olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté onions until translucent.

In a large bowl combine beef, pork, bread crumbs, egg yolks, spices and cooked onion. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Using a wooden spoon or clean hands to combine well. Roll into 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 inch meatballs. Make about 24 meatballs.

Add remaining oil to skillet. Add meatballs in batches and cook until all sides are brown, about 4-5 minutes. Transfer to paper towel.

To make gravy, melt butter in a skillet. Whisk in flour until lightly browned about 1 minute. Gradually add in broth and cook whisking constantly until thickened about 1-2 minutes. Stir in sour cream and add salt and pepper to taste.

Stir in meatballs and cook, stirring occasionally about 8-10 minutes.

Garnish with parsley
