6 (1 ounce) squares semi sweet chocolate
2 Tbsp butter
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup veg oil
2 cups packed brown sugar
4 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups coarsely chopped unsalted peanuts

Melt chocolate and butter over low heat. Set aside.

In medium bowl, beat together peanut butter and oil. Beat in sugar. Beat in eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Beat in flour and salt just until combined.

In small bowl, stir together one third of the peanut butter batter and the cooled chocolate mixture. Stir peanuts into remaining peanut butter batter.

Spread peanut butter batter evenly in a 13 x 9 pan. Spoon chocolate mixture over batter. With knife, make a zigzag through the layers to create a marbled effect.

Bake at 350 F (160 C) for about 30 minutes or until outer edges are baked (centre may be slightly soft). Cool brownies in pan set on wire rack. Cut into pieces about 2 x 2 inches.
