5 cups iceberg lettuce, chopped
1 can Water chestnuts, sliced
1 cup thawed green peas (not cooked)
2 bell peppers, chopped
4 stalks celery, chopped
2 bananas, sliced and tossed in lemon juice
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup Raisins
2 cups Miracle whip mixed with ¼ cup white vinegar and ¼ cup sugar (mix it well)
1 cup cooked bacon, chopped
1 cup grated cheddar cheese

Directions:

In a 9x13 glass baking dish start with the iceberg lettuce in the bottom--then layer on the chestnuts, peas, bell peppers, celery and bananas in layers for each one. Then sprinkle on the nuts, raisins and then spread the miracle whip mixture on the top like frosting. Then sprinkle on the chopped cooked bacon and then the cheese.
