3 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups cold fat.... 1/2 cup butter and 1 cup Crisco or lard or 1 1/2 cup Crisco
1 egg slightly beaten
1 tablespoon vinager
5 tablespoons ice water

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour and salt.
With a pastry cutter, cut in cold fat until pea size balls form.
In a small bowl, wisk egg, vinegar and water.
Slow kneed liquid into flour-fat mixture until right consistency.
Form 2 balls, wrap in plastic wrap and chill for 1 hour or more before rolling out. MAKES 2 DEEP DISH CRUSTS OR 1 DOUBLE CRUST.

Grandma Jones was known for her pies and the crust was always the best. At Bake Sales in Lawton, her pies always sold first. I can remember going to her Sunshine Club Sales and hearing all the praises she received as her treats were snapped up quickly. Her best was fresh Blueberrie.
