1/3 c light Karo syrup
1/3 c butter
vanilla or desired flavor
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

Beat Karo syrup, butter, flavoring, & salt together
Mix in 3 cups powdered sugar & knead till smooth
Tint with food coloring
Shape in 1 1/2 inch patties.
Top with nut halves (optional)
