1 box raisins
4 Tlb Crisco
2 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 3/4 cup sugar
4 cps boiling water
1 1//2 tsp cloves.
5 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
1 tsp rum extract
1 cup walnuts
large bottle maraschino cherries

Directions:
Directions:
Combine raisins, Crisco, cinnamon, sugar cloves and water in pot and boil for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let til cool until whitish on top

Add flour, (2 cups at a time) salt, soda and extract.
Stir in nuts and cherries.

Put into 3 loaf pans (not super big ones)

Bake at 350º for 60-90 minutes. Better than fruit cake.
