1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1 egg well beaten
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
3 tsp baking powder
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Directions:
Directions:
Cream together shortening and sugar, add beaten egg. Add the remaining ingredients in the same order as listed. Mix well. Bake at 325º for about 20 minutes.
