Dressing
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
garlic salt
1 teaspoon basil ( if using fresh, finely chopped)
Salad
8 oz. box rotitini ,cooked and drained.
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 cup chopped red pepper
2 Tablespoons of chopped parsley
1/4 cup of halved black olives
1/4 pound of provolone ---small chunks
1 can of drained and rinsed garbonza (chick peas) drained
1/4 pound of salami or pepperoni.....small chunks

Directions:
Directions:
Dressing, Mix all ingredients together for dressing and set aside

Salad
Cook the pasta in salted water according to package directions.
Drain, but do not rinse.
Pour the dressing over the hot pasta and refrigerate until cool.
Add the rest of the ingredients after the pasta has cooled and mix well.
Refrigerate until ready to serve and make sure to mix well again as some of the dressing will settle to the bottom of the bowl.
Best if made ahead.
