1/2 stick butter, melted
1 cup water (105-115 degrees)
2 pkg. yeast
1/4 cup sugar

Mix and let stand.



Add:
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt (add to flour)
1 cup flour
Add about 3 1/2 cups flour total.

Glaze:
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
3 to 4 T. hot water

Directions:
Directions:
Knead for 5 minutes. Rise in greased bowl for 1 1/2 hours. Punch down, let rise 30 minutes. Roll out 3/8 inch thick. Cut with donut cutter and raise again for 30 to 45 minutes. Fry in hot oil. Dip in glaze made from powdered sugar and hot water.
