7 oz pkg of vanilla wafers
2 eggs. separated
1/4 cup butter room temp
sugar
1/2 pint(8 oz) heavy whipping cream
1 can fruit (large, generally sliced peaches)
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Crush wafers, put 1/2 in bottom of cake pan. Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolks and beat well. Fold in well beaten egg whites and spread over crumbs. Layer fruit, then whipped cream. Put remaining crumbs on top. Refrigerate 12 hours before serving.
