Filling:1 1/2 c sugar Butter Topping:1 c flour
1/4 tbsp cinnamon 1/2 c white sugar
1/2 tbsp nutmeg 1/3 c butter
2 tbsp flour
1/8 tbsp salt
6 to 7 large green apples

Directions:
Directions:
Combine filling. Put about 1/4 mixture in bottom of of pie crust. Mix remainder through apple slices. Arrange slices in pastry.
For topping blend all ingredients-sprinkle over apples. Bake at 400 F for 20 min. Reduce heat to 350 F and bake about 40 min more or until apples are tender.
