1/4 cup warm water
1 tsp. sugar
1 packet dry yeast
3 cups white bread flour
2 cups whole wheat flour
2 cups oatmeal
2/3 cups dry milk
1 tsp salt
1/2 stick butter (1/4 cup)
2 cups water

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water and 1 tsp. sugar...then add to dry ingredients along with remaining water. Knead until smooth. Let rise in warm place, punch down. Roll dough into rectangle. Roll up like jelly roll, tucking in ends. Place into greased loaf pan and let rise again. Bake at 375º for 35 to 40 minutes. Remove from pan and let cool on wire rack. Can brush top with melted butter before cooling to make a softer crust.
