Upside Down Peach Cobbler Recipe

½ c butter (not margarine)
1¼ c sugar

2 c flour
4 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
1 c milk

1 quart sliced peaches, presweetened and drained
reserved juice
cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Thoroughly cream together 1 cup of the sugar with the butter. Blend in flour, baking powder and salt. Gradually add milk, mixing thoroughly (a few lumps are okay).

Spread batter in greased 9"x13" pan. Distribute fruit evenly over the batter. Pour ¼ cup of fruit juice over the fruit. Sprinkle with ¼ cup sugar and the cinnamon.

Bake at 375º F for 40 to 45 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
