2 ¼ C. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. Salt
1 C. shortening
¾ C. sugar
¾ C. firmly packed dark brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 package chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, baking soda & salt

Cream together Shortening, sugars, vanilla & eggs

Mix the two mixtures together, adding dry to wet

Add chocolate chips

Place LARGE tablespoon of batter per cookie - do not roll or pack

Bake 375 degrees for about 10 minutes. Cookies will appear undone but will set up after cooling.
