8 oz. pkg. dates, chopped
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
3 cups Rice Krispies
1 cup nuts, chopped
coconut or powdered sugar to roll in

Directions:
Directions:
Combine dates, margarine, sugar, and eggs in a heavy sauce pan(I use an iron skillet). Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until dates are dissolved; about 10 minutes. Set aside to cool. When cool, mix in Rice Krispies and nuts. Shape into balls the size of walnuts. Roll in coconut or sugar.
