2 square chocolate
1/2 c. Shortening
1 c. Brown sugar
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 egg
2 c. Flour
1/2 c. Milk
Nuts (optional)
Directions:
Directions:
Melt chocolate and shortening together. Let cool. Add other ingredients. Bake at 350* dropped on cookie sheet for 10 min.

Frosting
2 c. Sugar
1/2 c. Milk
2 T. Cocoa
3 T. White Karo syrup
1 T. Butter

Cook to soft ball stage. Add butter and beat till thick. Spread on warm cookie
