½ cup Crisco
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 ¾ cup Plain Flour
½ t. baking powder
1 t. soda
1 t. cinnamon
½ t. ground cloves
½ t. nutmeg
½ cup raisins
1 cup raw oats
1 cup applesauce

Directions:
Directions:
Cream Crisco & sugar, add egg, and mix well. Sift dry ingredients, mix raisins and oats and add to cream mixture; then applesauce, beat well.
Drop onto greased sheet and bake at 375* for 15 minutes.
