Pastry
1 stick butter
1 3 oz. cream cheese
1 c. plain flour

Filling
1 egg
3/4 c. light brown sugar
2 T melted butter
t tsp. vanilla
dash salt
1 c. chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter, cream cheese and flour. Refrigerate for an hour, then roll into balls in small muffin tins. Press in bottom and around sides of ungreased tins.
Filling
Mix egg, brown sugar, butter, vanilla, salt and pecans and fill pastry shells. Bake at 350º for 30 minutes.

A favorite during the Christmas season. I have four tins so always double the recipe.
One of Jay's favorite.
