3 C flour, sifted
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 C butter
3/4 C sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
2 T milk
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar together. Add egg, vanilla, and milk. Gradually add dry ingredients and mix well. Put into the refrigerator for 15-30 minutes. Roll out onto a floured board (approx. 1/8 inch thick) cut out desired shapes and place onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400º for 5-8 minutes.

Let cook and frost with colored frosting.
