2C SCALDED MILK, COOLED
1C WHITE SUGAR
3/4C COOKING OIL
1C MASHED POTATOES
1C MASHED POTATOES WATER
1TSP SALT
6 EGGS, SLIGHTLY BEATEN
2PKG YEAST, SOAKED IN ¾ C WATER AND 2TBSP SUGAR
FLOUR

Directions:
Directions:
Combine above ingredients. Mix in flour until soft dough. Knead. Let rise, punch down, let rise again. Roll dough ¾” thick, cut into doughnuts. Let rise. Deep fry. Delicious! ( Toss in a brown bag with sugar when warm)

Nothing better than opening the door to Gramma's house and smelling fresh doughnuts that had been shaken in a bag of sugar to coat them- YUMMY!!
