2/3C MARGARINE
1C BROWN SUGAR
1 EGG BEATEN
1TSP VANILLA + 1 TSP ALMOND FLAVOURING
1/4TSP CREAM OF TARTAR
1/2TSP BAKING SODA
2C FLOUR
3/4C CHOPPED CHERRIES
3/4C CHOPPED WALNUTS

Directions:
Cream sugar and butter, add beaten egg and vanilla etc. Add dry ingred. cheeries and nuts at the last. Mix well and roll in to cylinders. Wrap in waxed paper. Chill for ½ hour. Cut ¼” slices and bake at 350F for 10 minutes. Watch because they brown quickly
